Many people fail at this diet because they lack variety in their eating. What we have come up with is the Atkins diet menu plot where you just pick some of the foods off of our list and make meals. There are studies that show that high-protein, low-carb eating improves triglycerides, decreases blood glucose for diabetics and pre-diabetics and boosts positive cholesterol. High-protein, low-carbohydrate eating has been medically proven to enhance insulin sensitivity, cuts down blood pressure and cuts blood insulin levels. At the food selection stage you have to choose between 7 to 15 food items of two food groups in order to comprise a complete menu for 11 days. Choosing the right foods is very vital since this is what your menu will be comprised of. I recommend choosing as many different items as possible to achieve the maximum diversity in your menu. Additionally, you should try and eat more than 3 meals a day. Break up the part of each meal and try to eat 5-6 times a day instead.
