Developed by a U.S. Navy SEAL, the Perfect Pushup uses the principals of biomechanics and engineering to help you comfortably do effective pushups, without undue strain on your wrists and elbows. It also helps stabilize and strengthen the shoulder joint. The unique rotating handles allow your arms to rotate naturally when you do pushups, which helps speed up results by engaging more muscles in the arms, chest, shoulders, and back. As seen on TV. I just got these and have found it kind of hard to do so far. But I guess that means they work? Anyway, will continue to try them and will update later.

I was given this as a gift and was certainly a skeptic.

    Fantastic Product.

Started off in real ruff shape. I was only able to do 3 of the “simple” (girl style) push-ups when i started. I am now doing 20 of the regular style push up in only 3 weeks. Yea it doesn’t sound like much but I have definately noticed the difference. I will continue to use them :)

Started using the product straight away… saw nearly immediate results. Especially from muscles that don’t normally get a much attention from a push-up. (triceps anyone?) All in all, a fantastic way to do push-ups!

    People with shoulder problems beware!

I injured my shoulder in 2001, while in high school.

Quick forward about six or seven years.

I ordered this product and from the moment it arrived used it regularly for about 6 months. I didn’t see outstanding results, and I exercise 4 or 5 times a week. I did not see any results I wouldn’t normally see with regular pushups. But, it was simple on my wrists, and because it was a huge harder I didn’t have to do so many, so it was simple on my elbows too.

After using for six months I chose to try the advanced movements, which were significantly more hard, but that’s the point. While doing incline pushups, with my feet on a swiss ball, I torn my entire labrum in my shoulder.

This product is fantastic for anyone who doesn’t like doing regular pushups. This product is dreadful for anyone with a preexisting, even if it’s ancient, injury. Needless to say I need to have surgery on my shoulder now. Thanks perfect pushup.

    Trust me, buy it

I was always skeptical about products like this, but once I started to use my friend’s set, I had to buy my own. I will tell you right now, I am no “buff” guy. I can knock out a excellent set of 80 pushups straight, no problem, but I could only perform 30 perfect Perfect Pushups. The reason is because I never trained my arms or shoulders that well. I only do two upper body workouts: Pushups and Pull-ups. Once I completed my 17-day routine (included with my buy), I immediately noticed a difference in my appearance.

If you have small time to dedicate to exercise, like myself, then get this product to save your much needed time. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

This set of equipment does not give you a full-body workout, even though pushups are among the best exercises to do. If you want to work out every part of your body, you need to perform multiple types of exercises.

One last thing: If your shoulders or wrists hurt, then you are not doing a right pushup. The only way to get injured on this is by not doing them correctly.

I’ve had the perfect pushup for only 4 days. I am not a body builder. To the contrary, I am more like one of those gadget guys that are always constantly doing stuff in front of computers or on their blackberries.

Is the perfect pushup worth all the hype? Probably not. But, I can certainly feel more soreness on my chest and bicep muscles. The added height and rotation all add up to a more thorough workout for the entire upper body. I usually couldn’t exercise my chest muscles as much as I wanted to with the conventional pushups, but with this I can. I have to admit it is much harder than it looks on TV, I can only do 1/3 the number of normal pushups on this (doesn’t really help with confidence, does it?). It took me a while to get the hang of the rotating motion. I hope I can rotate slower and smoother when I’m more used to it.

It is 30 bucks well spent for my light exercise routine. I would recommend it to my friends.

    fantastic home workout

These are fantastic. Don’t take up a lot of space and give you a excellent upperbody workout. Have had mine for over a year and they’ve held up fantastic. Not a problem with function and I still feel safe putting all of my weight on them. Similar products don’t seem to hold up as well (no pun intended).

If you’re looking for a excellent home workout, this and the Perfect Pullups (or something similar) are all you really need.

This product works out a lot of your stabilizer muscles, along with the huge muscle groups of the pushup. The bar itself adds a few inches to your pushup so you can go down further and work your chest more. Fantastic product and feels sturdy enough to last a few years.

    Nice, deep pushups

I have found this product to be quite useful. Although you can do fewer pushups than you can with standard hands-on-floor pushups, the Perfect Pushup allows you to get a deeper and ultimately more productive pushup. But, you won’t go down far enough to cause shoulder strain, as you might between 2 chairs or another makeshift set up that might not be as safe. My son and I have both used these every week for over a year and they (both pieces) are still like new; so, brilliant durability. Try these every couple of weeks as a substitute for bench presses and you might find your bench press weight goes up.

    Works Excellent

I’ve had this product since it was released several years ago. It works quite well, it is not as excellent as push-up handles that you bolt to the floor, but for 30$, they have been very useful, I gained about an inch to my arms in a month using them in conjunction with chin-ups.

I just like it! it is simple to use and you get so mitivated by the quick results. It is the fist thing a pack in my carry-on when traveling and I travel a lot.

    Shoulder problems? No Problem!
    Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I have been lifting weights for over 30 years. The past few years I have not been able to do bench presses. I used to press 160% of my weight, but shoulder problems have forced me to quit. I started doing pushups which seemed to nearly eliminate the shoulder problems. They were helpful, but I have been amazed at the results of the perfect pushup. I can’t clarify it–either it’s the rotation factor or the extra balance required, but this thing burns my chest like nothing else. I have also noticed it in my arms and back. Highly recommended piece of equipment!

    Perfect Pushup

If you thought these look like a gimmick, you are incorrect. The perfect pushup equipment allows you a whole new freedom of motion that you could never achieve doing just regular pushups. You will certainly feel the difference in your workout. Not only will you have freedom of motion, you won’t be putting stress on your wrists.
