    This is the best “boxed” workout I’ve seen!! Seriously will kick your butt into shape!! You might not be able to walk the first day after!! Gets muscles you didn’t know you have!! Highly recommend it!!

    Jillian did a fantastic job with this set. The cards are heavy duty to last but most importantly the content is fantastic. I like to customize my workouts but remembering the routine is tough when I first start doing it. With these cards I can pick the exercises I want and place them in order. As I go through them they remind not only which exercise is next but what the proper form is for that exercise. When you want to change your routine just pull out new exercises and you’re set. The quality is much higher than I expected for the price. Highly recommend.

    These cards motivate me to do certain exercises. The reason why I am giving it 4 stars is because it’d be simpler if the pages were punched and place in a note book. It’d be simpler to flip through the pages rather than pulling them out as index cards. Otherwise, this is a fantastic thought to choose individual exercises. Jillian lays out a daily exercise program and that is helpful!

    I really delight in the circuit training cards, but you’re kind of on your own for constructing your own workout if you just want to work out a certain body part. It doesn’t recommend which workouts to pair with which, which was one of the things I was hoping for.

    I’ve never had a personal trainer that I haven’t fired. That being said, when I saw this a borders, I was super excited. I like the size and the very simple to know instructions. I like being able to place together my own workout, or use one of hers. This is perfect for travel or for just getting fit on a budget.

    I was sorry I bought this product. I thought I was getting a video, and it turns out to be exercises on cards, which I don’t do well with. It’s too terrible the explanation wasn’t clear.

    These workouts are very intense. They allow you to accomplish both toning and cardio in a relatively small amount of time. They are far less dull than just doing regular workout machines at the gym.

    I am so pleased she place together something like this. Who needs to pay for a trainer now?! Each of the 9 Workout cards are incredible…they’re like taking one of her videos into the gym with you. I also like how each one focuses on a different set of muscles than the next card, so you can do them in order and are sure not to over-train one set of muscles. She’s a genius.

    It is TOUGH, especially if you make it tough. Really do the workout, place your effort out there and it’ll pay off. It feels incredible. I highly recommend this product (and ALL of Jillian’s products). This is so worth the very small price. You’ll like it.

    Hot Bod in a Box is a wonderful thing! I like having the pre-plotted circuit training workouts without having to watch a workout DVD. You can do these workouts in a gym, or in your own home. Fantastic!

    The exercises are classic Jillian. The format is fantastic. The only problem I found is somewhat limited portability. The circuits require equipment you might not have with you on a trip. If you have access to exercise balls, steps, weights, etc, you will get an brilliant array of fantastic workout options.

    I used the cards for the first time yesterday, you don’t need expensive excercise equipment, I worked out using one of the circuits, and felt amazed at the challenge of the workout from these cards. The cards are durable and the instructions simple to follow. Using these cards and following the circuits or mixing it up and making my own circuit will certainly insure and toned body for myself or anyone in a matter of no time.

    If your looking for variety and thoughts this is a fantastic deck of cards to own. Jillian provides you with various workout routines to follow. It’s pretty cool because you can pick out moves and make your own routine. She also provides variations on familiar moves. The instructions are very detailed and simple to follow (not simple to do but simple to follow). Most of her moves target more then one muscle group so your getting more bang for your buck! The deck has a lot of new moves that you probably have never tried so it’ll be a excellent challenge.

    This is a excellent tool for workouts at home, not very practical for the gym since you can’t take the box with you to the gym, it has several cards with circuit training routines but you still need to see the exercise cards to see what she calls some of her exercises, instead of using standard exercise names, she uses her own names and that’s what makes it a bit confusing at first. Once you know what she means then the circuit cards can be carried by themselves.

    These are perfect for the gym. I don’t like carrying a binder around or filling in information on pages and graphs. It is enough for me to keep track of time and to remember not to work out using the same muscle groups two days in a row. These help mix it up a bit. I pick out a few cards and use them to supplement whatever muscle group I am using that day.

    These cards are brilliant. It is hard to follow one of her books or directions from her website while these cards are very clear and require small direction. They are simple to throw in a gym bag and simple to incorporate into a routine. One of my favorite trainers says you should always mix it up a bit and these cards are fantastic for that.

    I also use these at home to make a small intense workout after completing one of her videos. (I HAVE learned to leave the sound muted on these because they can sometimes get annoying. It is much better to do the workout with favorite music.) But they add an extra oomph to the basic workout. (I currently like both Jillian Michaels – 30 Day Shred and Jillian Michaels: Banish Stout, Boost Metabolism — incredible prices right now!)

    Jillian Michaels has some fantastic thoughts about how to make workouts more effective. Using the weight training cards and the circuit training make a huge difference in how effective every workout is.
